This is an experiment I’m running for myself to see if I can keep up with managing a blog. Maybe weekly, or daily updates. Who knows where this could end up.
“I hate that I know the numbers of your life, that I know the exact moment I knew you existed, to the moment you were born, to the moment that you died. And everything in between was pure gold now, every triumph, every failure, and everything in-between was amazing and so sweet, it breaks my heart to know that of all people, me your mom, has to know the numbers. The other number is how many days since you died, and each one is a triumph for me, that choose to stay here each day, and each night when I beg to come to you in my sleep, but awake, is one more day to add to my list of triumphs, and I hate how big it’s getting.” By Jen Kile
